Presidents Message.
Welcome to the BRCC website. It gives me great pleasure to have been elected as president of our chamber. I have been a director for the last 6 years and served as vice president for the last 3. I am looking forward to the new challenges that this role will bring. Although our chamber has made significant improvements over the last number of years there is still a lot of work to be done. As we continue to navigate the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic as well as plan for new normal after the mass inoculation we need all businesses in the Qikiqtani region to know we are here to support you in these unprecedented times.
The work of the chamber would not happen without the dedicated volunteers that make up our board. I am pleased to announce the following community members from our region that are currently serving as directors on our board.
On behalf of the experienced and diverse group of directors and our long serving staff members, Chris West, Executive Director and Lisa McGrath, office manager we look forward to supporting business throughout the Qikiqtani region. I am pleased to work with such a strong team in the best interest of our membership and the entire region. We look forward to seeing you all again at some point during our special events such as the Nunavut Tradeshow, Northern Lights and the Qikiqtani Charity Gala.
The chamber will be launching new initiatives in 2021 so please stay tuned but in the meantime do not hesitate to reach out to our office for any assistance or guidance you may need.
